Passenger plane crashes immediately after take off

Authorities reported on Monday that all four individuals on board a plane tragically lost their lives in a crash just outside the tourist hub of Moab in eastern Utah. The incident occurred on Sunday evening shortly after the aircraft took off from Canyonlands Airfield, located approximately 15 miles (24 kilometers) north of Moab.

This tragic event involving a single-engine Piper plane is currently under investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board, as announced on their social media platform, X (formerly known as Twitter). Attempts to obtain further information from sheriff's officials through a phone message on Monday were unsuccessful.

Moab, a community primarily focused on tourism, boasts a population of around 5,300 residents and is situated near the renowned Arches and Canyonlands national parks.
