A secure decision has been made on the application for the recovery of former Prime Minister and PTI Chairman's nephew, Hassan Niazi. The Lahore High Court has asked the lawyers for further evidence by October 17.
Justice Sultan Tanveer Ahmed heard Hassan Niazi's father, Hafizullah Niazi's request. The lawyer stated that the court had also granted permission for a meeting with the petitioner's son. A request has been made to the court to issue an order for a meeting between Hassan Niazi and his parents.
The court has given a deadline to the government lawyer to respond to the contempt of court application, while Hafizullah Niazi has filed a request for the recovery of his son. Hassan Niazi was arrested from Abbottabad on August 14.
He is accused of being involved in the attack on Jinnah House on May 9. On August 17, the case was transferred to a military court where the trial will take place. The police had informed that the suspect was transferred from Quetta to Rawalpindi. It should be noted that the Lahore High Court had previously conducted a hearing on Hassan Niazi's recovery application.
The court had asked for responses from the Inspector General, CCPO, and SHO Soror Road on August 18. The court's order was that if Hassan Niazi is in the custody of the IG, CCPO, or SHO, he should be produced.
