Important development over General Elections transparency by ECP

The Election Commission has directed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to promptly inform international observers about transparency in the upcoming general elections and has also granted approval for an ethical code for international observers.
In a crucial meeting led by the Chief Election Commissioner, Sikandar Sultan Raja, members, the Secretary of the Election Commission, and other senior officers were present.
As per the issued statement, it was decided in the meeting that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs should be immediately notified in writing to take all necessary steps for inviting international observers to monitor the electoral process during the upcoming general elections, especially those organizations of foreign observers who have expressed their interest in observing the electoral process to the Election Commission.
The Election Commission has instructed the Secretary of the Election Commission to convene a meeting on October 16th. The Election Commission stated that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Interior, and other concerned authorities would participate in the meeting, and in the meeting, a code of ethics for international observers would also be finalized and approved.
In the meeting, the Election Commission also reviewed the arrangements for the upcoming general elections, and it was decided in the meeting that all matters related to the elections would be completed as per the schedule.
