Funded projects worth over $9b approved: Murad

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that funded projects worth more than nine billion dollars have already been approved.
He was talking to eleven members World Bank delegation at Chief Minister House in Karachi.
Giving the details the Chief Minister said under the World Bank programme 5.5 billion dollars will be spent on urban support, 2.5 billion on provision of drinking water and one billion dollar on Municipal Solid Waste projects.
He said that Sindh Government is ready to work on the completion of Karachi Water Board Infrastructure through public-private partnership.
Syed Murad Ali Shah further said that Sindh Government will contribute 320 million dollars for service improvement project which will be completed at a cost of 640 million dollars funded by World Bank.
Chief Minister added that on the improvement of urban roads network project will be initiated at a cost of 400 million dollars in Karachi.
