COAS SUMMONS “SPECIAL” CORPS COMMANDERS MEETING

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has on Tuesday summoned a “special” meeting of the Corps Commanders in GHQ. The meeting will review the country’s internal situation and discuss the recent visit of the army chief to Kabul.
The meeting will also review the operation preparedness of the armed forces.
The Army Chief’s recent visit to Afghanistan will also come under discussion in the meeting.
Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa will take the Corps Commanders in confidence regarding his meeting with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and Pak-Afghan situation.
