Top 400 Tax filers incentive scheme launched

ISLAMABAD: (APP) Minister for Law and Justice Zahid Hamid Monday informed the House that the government has offered extra incentives for 400 top tax filers.
Replying in the Senate on a motion moved by Senator Mian Muhammad Ateeq, the minister said that it was the prime responsibility of the government to protect the rights of the tax filers in the country.
Zahid Hamid said that there are so many legal sections to protect the rights of the tax filers which were implemented, adding that it was the responsibility of the tax filers to properly pay taxes.
The minister said that Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has made foolproof system for the tax filers and they have availed 19 incentives which could not get by the non-filers.
Zahid Hamid said the government has also offered to pay tax on installments.
