Afghan Taliban ban use of foreign currency in the country

In Afghanistan, Taliban have imposed a complete ban on the use of foreign currency in the country.
Taliban's spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid in a statement instructed all citizens, including shopkeepers, traders, businessmen and the general public to do all transactions in Afghani currency and strictly refrain from using foreign currency.
He said anyone violating this order will face legal action.
