Protest March and Sit In of JUI F in Islamabad causing fear and harassment

ISLAMABAD - The protest march and sit-in of JUI-F in the federal capital have greatly disturbed the life of residents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, creating an environment of fear and harassment among the people.

Residents of the twin cities are unable to easily reach their offices and students cannot attend their classes regularly.

The protestors are causing environmental hazards in the federal capital and also damaging infrastructure.

The protest has sent across a negative message of political instability in the country, which the enemies of Pakistan, particularly the Indian media are playing up.

It is regrettable that the protest organizers are using juvenile seminary students for their vested political interests. There are also reports that the marchers are intercepting public vehicles and asking them to donate funds in the name of protest march and Jihad. A female reporter was denied entry into the venue to perform her professional duty of covering the event, which has negatively portrayed Pakistan abroad.

It is worth mentioning that the government has not created any hurdle in the way of JUI-F march. However, it has made it clear not to allow anyone to challenge writ of the state.
