President, PM condole passing away of Quaid's daughter Dina Wadia

ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi have expressed deepest condolences, on behalf of the people of Pakistan, on the passing away of Ms. Dina Wadia, daughter of the father of the Pakistani nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.“Mr. Nusli Wadia, Mrs. Dina Wadia’s son has been conveyed the sadness of the Pakistani nation, on the demise of their beloved mother who was greatly respected and admired in Pakistan. May she Rest in Peace,” a foreign office statement issued here on Thursday said.
Meanwhile, according to a statement issued from the PM’s Media Office, the Prime Minister expressed deep sorrow on the sad demise of Ms. Dina Wadia.
He said that as the only child of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the people of Pakistan had immense affection and respect for her.
The Prime Minister also said that her passing away has left every Pakistani with a sense of great loss.
