Pakistan to increase Gas production by 100%

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that hundred percent increase will be made in the natural gas production by the end of next year.
Petroleum production witnesses increase in Pakistan
In an interview with PTV on Thursday night, he said that by the end of 2018 all the consumers of the country will be supplied sufficient gas to meet their demands. He said during the last one year one million new gas connections have been given all over the country.
Khaqan Abbasi said the price of the natural gas has not been enhanced for the last three years. He expressed the hope in future the prices of the gas will be reduced due to its ample supply.
