Govt committed for uplift of downtrodden people: Dr Firdous

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government is committed for uplift of downtrodden people in the society.
Talking to a private news channel, she regretted that opposition has been impeding the incumbent government in making legislation for the last five months.
She said during the rule of PPP, the government of Sindh, could not improve situation in health and other sectors.
In reply to a question, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has a clear mandate of people for eliminating corruption from the society.
