CM Sindh inaugurates 50 MW Jhimpir Wind Power Plant

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah inaugurated the fifty megawatt Jhimpir Wind Power Plant at Jhimpir in Karachi today. Addressing the inauguration ceremony, the Chief Minister said that Sindh has a vast wind corridor which we have started to utilize for alternate power resource.
He said that we need to rely on our own resources of wind, solar, coal and gas if we want to overcome power shortage. APP/AFP
