‘No credible evidence’ of Iran nuclear weapons program after 2009: IAEA

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) says it has no credible evidence that Iran was working on developing a nuclear explosive device after 2009.

UN's nuclear watchdog in a statement said it considered the issue closed after it presented a report in December 2015.

The IAEA statement comes after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed on 30th of last month Israel had documents that showed new "proof" of an Iranian nuclear-weapons plan that could be activated at any time. APP/AFP
