China calls on the concerned to play role in solving Korean Peninsula issue

China has called on all parties concerned to play a constructive and active role in resolving the Korean Peninsula issue together.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Lu Kang said at a daily news briefing in Beijing that that it is a positive sign that both sides showed their willingness to maintain contact and continue dialogue.
Lu expressed hope that DPRK and United States will continue talks, meet each other halfway and advance the political settlement of Korean Peninsula issue.
