Annual US-led military exercises begin in Poland, Baltic states

The annual US-led military exercises, Saber Strike manoeuvres, begin in Poland and the Baltic states today (Sunday).
Some eighteen thousand troops from nineteen mostly NATO countries take part in the exercises to be continued till 15th of this month.
The aim of the drills is to boost combat readiness on the alliance's eastern flank as it faces an increasingly assertive Russia.
