PM Green Pakistan Programme: Forestry, Wildlife resources allocated

The government has released an amount of 554 million rupees to ensure revival of Forestry Resources under Prime Minister Green Pakistan Programme.
Sources at Climate Change Ministry on Saturday said, that the objectives of the programme will be achieved by implementing different initiatives and projects.
The program has two major projects, which will be implemented over a period of five years 2017-2021.
The sources said another programme in this connection is revival of Wildlife Resources in Pakistan. The estimated cost of this project is over one billion rupees and will be implemented in five years (2017-2021).
The main objective of this programme is to revive and functionally recognize wildlife departments in all provinces, AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan through development of time-bound plans.
