New IT Companies declared free of tax

The government has declared new IT companies free from tax in the next fiscal year budget 2017-18 to boost the local industry.
Spokesman of Ministry of Information and Technology and Telecommunication said this step will open new avenues for job market by ensuring and development in the sector.
He said the government has unveiled a progressive budget 2017-18 and exempted the new tech companies from Income Tax for next three years in the country.
He said with the induction of 3G and 4G technology in Pakistan, this sector has seen a surprising boom in the shape of various new tech companies and startups.
