The United States says China test-fired multiple anti-ship ballistic missiles in South China Sea over the weekend.
Pentagon spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Dave Eastburn in a statement said the US is aware of Chinese missile launch from the man-made structures in South China Sea near Spratly Islands.
However, China has not confirmed the missile tests.
The Chinese government said their military was carrying out drills between the Spratly and Paracel Islands starting last weekend and ending today, warning other shipping not to enter a designated area.
