Crown Prince chairs first meeting of Saudi Defense council

Saudi Arabia has approved activation of the key governance councils of the Ministry of Defence, under the Ministry's Development Document.
The decision was taken in the first meeting of the Defence Council chaired by Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman in Riyadh.
The new governance is aimed at improving the decision-making mechanisms and transferring the Defence Ministry into institutional action within the five strategic goals which include improving the organizational performance of the Ministry, upgrading equipment and weapons, improving the efficiency of expenditure, supporting localization of military manufacturing and the development of individual performance and raising morale.
