Beijing Underpass: Pakistan’s longest Underpass inaugurated in Lahore

LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif inaugurated the longest passageway – Beijing Bridge – on Lahore’s Canal Road on Sunday.
The 1.3 km-long mega project links Dharampura to Mughalpura. The flow of traffic will resume after the inauguration ceremony.
Previously known as Chubacha Underpass, the project had been renamed to commemorate the contribution of China in Pakistan’s development projects.
Earlier in the day, CM Punjab addressed a session through video link. In the session, he spoke regarding the progress of the provincial development projects, including Speedo buses.
He said that after Multan and Lahore, the Speedo bus service will be inaugurated in Lodhran and Bahawalpur.
