Turkey, US agree to resolve issues

WASHINGTON: Turkey and the United States have agreed to resolve issues between the two countries.

The agreement came during a meeting between Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and the U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on the margins of a meeting of regional ministers in Singapore today.

Earlier, Washington had imposed sanctions on two Turkish  Ministers over the trial of a U.S. pastor accused of backing terrorism.
