NACTA holds meeting in Islamabad to take into stock the implementation of FATF

ISLAMABAD - The 10th monthly meeting of National Counter-Terrorism Authority was held in Islamabad on Friday.

Chaired by the National Coordinator NACTA Dr. Muhammad Salman Khan, it was attended by officials from Financial Monitoring Unit, Federal Board of Revenue, Federal Investigation Agency, Anti-Narcotics Force, State Bank of Pakistan, Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, and Ministries of Interior and Finance.

Task force members from federal and provincial departments and governments were also in attendance.

According to a declaration issued by NACTA, the meeting took into stock the implementation of action plan for Financial Action Task Force.

The members gave proposals and deliberated upon the implementation so far. Road map to national risk assessment was also discussed in detail.

The declaration added that NACTA will continue fulfilling the national responsibilities under its mandate.
