EU to continue to support people of Pakistan for peaceful regional environment

ISLAMABAD: European Union says it will continue to support the people of Pakistan to make their country more prosperous in a peaceful regional environment.
This was stated by EU Ambassador Jean-Francois Cautain at a meeting with PPP leader and Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Interior Senator A Rehman Malik in Islamabad.
The Ambassador congratulated the people of Pakistan for their dedication to democracy as demonstrated in recent elections.
They discussed ongoing international situation and the Pak- EU bilateral relations and the mutual cooperation.
Senator A Rehman Malik informed the Ambassador Pakistan has given unprecedented sacrifices of its troops and civilians in war on terror by assisting US and NATO Forces in Afghanistan.
