QUETTA – The Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) has agreed to nominated Jam Kamal as chief minister and Abdul Qudus Bizenjo.
The decision was made during a meeting on Friday.
Talking to the media, Manzoor Kakar said that consultations with other parties are underway.
“Jam Jamali was also a candidate for the speakership. The deputy speakership and other ministries could not be discussed,” he said.
Manzoor Kakar said that they had met the leaders of BNP, ANP and independent candidates and they have assured them of support. “We only gained support from Bani Gala for government formation. We made decision on the chief minister in the party meeting. We have gained the number of 30,” he said.
Jam Kamal said that now all political parties will have to think seriously. “We have either to watch our personal interests or public problems. We will improve the mismanagement of previous governments,” he said.
