Delegation of renowned Ulema have expressed resolve to support government's efforts for eradicating extremism, terrorism and sectarianism.
A delegation of 'Ulema' called on Prime Minister Imran Khan. Mufti Muneeb ur Rehman, Sahibzada Hamid Raza, Pir Naqeeb ur Rehman attended the meeting.
Prime Minister apprised the delegation of economic development, eradication of corruption and public welfare.
Prime Minister said the diverse system of education is the source of discrimination in the society. Imran Khan emphasized on uniform curriculum for promotion of national unity.
The Prime Minister said that the Ulema and mashaikh can play a vital role in foiling the nefarious designs of terror elements.
'Ulema' rejected baseless propaganda against Muslims
They said recommendations of 'Paigham-e-Pakistan conference' will help promote the peace. The improvement of curriculum and registration of seminaries was also discussed.
