Pakistani delegation to visit Kabul in connection with extortion calls from Afghanistan 



PESHAWAR: KPK CM Pervaiz Khattak vowed to take every possible measures to eradicate scourge of terrorism and extortion from the  province saying that provincial government would leave no stone unturned to improve law and order situation of the province.

 

As per details, Pervaiz Khattak was addressing the apex committee meeting here at Peshawar Corps Headquarters. Chief of Army Staff General Raheel chaired the high provincial apex committee meeting and discussed law and order situation of the province in the meeting.

 

The apex committee meeting decided to visit Afghanistan to raise the issue of extortion calls and intervention before Afghan authorities. High level delegation would discuss matters related to external intervention, extortion calls, communication systems and return of Afghan refugees to their homes during their visit to Afghanistan.

 

Affairs related to intelligence sharing between both countries would also become under discussion in the meetings with Afghan authorities.

 

It was also decided in the apex committee meeting to shut down all illegal towers inside Pakistani territory to settle the issue.
