PM Imran Khan to inaugurate Torkham Border on September 5

ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate Pak-Afghan Torkham border on September 5.

The provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has decided to initiate round-the-clock operations at the Torkham border crossing between Pakistan and Afghanistan on a trial basis from today.

Once the trail period is complete, Imran Khan will inaugurate border. The decision is likely to boost bilateral trade and cooperation between two countries.

One of the busiest ports of entry between the two neighboring countries, Torkham is located along the 2,500 km international border that separates Pakistan and Afghanistan and serves as a major transportation and shipping site.
