ISLAMABAD -Peshawar High Court gives verdict on Pashtun Tehfuz Movement leaders bail transfer plea.
The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Monday rejected the request to transfer MNAs Mohsin Dawar and Ali Wazir’s bail hearing from Bannu to Peshawar.
According to *Express link*, Chief Justice of PHC Waqar Ahmed Seth rejected the bail hearing transfer plea of Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) leaders after the Advocate General Shumail Ahmed Butt appealed to dismiss the request.
Earlier, Dawar was arrested as he was accused of leading an assault on a security check post in North Waziristan. Sources said Dawar was presented before an anti-terrorism court (ATC) after his arrest, which granted his eight-day remand. Subsequently, he was shifted to Peshawar.
