Electricity shortfall rises drastically in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD– The shortfall of electricity has rose drastically in Pakistan with the rise in mercury.
Shortfall mounted to 5560MW as power cuts have crippled routine life activities across country.
The demand of electricity at present stands at 23670MW whereas its production is just 18110MW.
Sources further added feeders with losses over 10pc were being subjected to load shedding.
