Former Pakistan cricket team captain Misbah-ul-Haq expressed less hope in the national team's performance in the World Cup despite their good performance.
Speaking to the media at the National Stadium in Karachi, he said that the Pakistan team is facing challenges during the global cup, especially after the loss to India in the Asia Cup. Special performance is needed for good results, and both matches against India are crucial.
Misbah-ul-Haq emphasized the need for a good performance in matches against the Netherlands and Sri Lanka, stating that if the results don't go in their favor in both matches, the team will be under pressure. He stressed that every team has its own style of play, and if they can score 350 runs, they should aim to win the match.
Regarding Fakhar Zaman, the former captain mentioned his out-of-form situation as a concern. He believes that Fakhar needs to overcome the pressure and perform well for Pakistan. Fakhar is being backed because he has the potential to score big for the team.
