Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court has accepted the request for bail by Chairman PTI in the cases related to the events of May 9.
According to details, the Islamabad High Court conducted a hearing on the bail request of Chairman PTI on 9 counts. Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court, Justice Aamer Farooq, and Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri heard the requests and made a decision.
While delivering the verdict, the court accepted the bail requests for Chairman PTI on 9 counts and declared a non-compliance with the trial court's decision.
Islamabad High Court revived the bail requests in the trial court and stated that the trial court should reconsider the bail requests on 9 counts, and Chairman PTI cannot be arrested in the 9 cases.
It should be noted that Chairman PTI's 6 bails were rejected by the Sessions Courts and 3 bails by the Anti-Terrorism Courts, including 3 cases related to May 9 events and 3 cases related to protests in Islamabad.
