During the home delivery process of the newly issued passports with regular fees throughout the country, there has once again been an unusual increase in the duration.
The official processing time for passport issuance with regular fees has been extended to 21 working days, and with weekly holidays, passport delivery is possible within 23 to 25 days.
According to the regulations, the delivery time for passports with regular fees is 10 to 12 working days, for urgent passport delivery, it's 5 working days, and for fast-track, it's 2 working days.
However, due to the current national circumstances, there is reported delay in passport processing, attributed to rigorous scrutiny. Complaints regarding passports can be lodged through the Pakistan Citizen Portal or the DG Passports helpline, as per passport authorities.
