PTI's Babar Awan in hot waters

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Babar Awan will be indicted on October 24 in Nandipur reference.
Accountability court I Judge Muhammad Bashir on Tuesday heard the Nandipur Power Project reference. The court fixed October 24 as the date for the indictment of Babar Awan, former PM Pervaiz Ashraf and five others in the Nandipur Power Project reference filed by the National Accounability Bureau (NAB).
In last hearing, former PM Pervaiz Ashraf was granted permanent exemption from appearing in the case after submitting Rs 0.2 million of surety bond.
Two former federal ministers, Naveed Qamar and Khawaja Asif, have become witnesses against PTI leader Babar Awan. A total of 35 witnesses will testify, including three NAB investigation officers, in the Nandipur Power project reference.
