Non bailable arrest warrants issued for former IG Punjab Mushtaq Sukhera

LAHORE – Non-bailable arrest warrants were issued against former Punjab police chief Mushtaq Sukhera.
The warrants were issued in Model Town case by the ATC court and ordered police to produce him before the court tomorrow.
Prime Minister Imran Khan had last week ordered to remove officials link in the Model Town incident from their posts.
Sources told Dunya News that PM Imran Khan telephoned Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and directed him to remove the officials involved in Model Town tragedy from their posts.
The prime minister also had a telephonic conversation with Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahir ul Qadri and assured him that the victims of the Model Town massacre would get justice.
