MQM-Pakistan new office bearers appointed

KARACHI, Oct 01 (APP): Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan Chief Dr. Farooq Sattar, who was the senior deputy convenor, has been appointed the Convenor of the party's Coordination (Rabita) Committee.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the Coordination Committee of the
party here on Saturday.
Kishwar Zehra, Abdul Wasim and Faisal Sabzwari were also included as
members of the Coordination Committee, a press release said issued here on Saturday.
Addressing a news conference along with other party leaders at the MQM
office, Dr. Farooq Sattar said that accountability process was going in the MQM Pakistan and whoever was found involved in criminal activities, strict action would be taken against them.
Giving details of the Coordination Committee's decisions, he said that
party's basic membership of two Coordination Committee members Muhammad Ashraf Noor and Akram Rajput had been terminated for violating the party discipline and for their involvement in criminal activities.
Farooq Sattar further said that he had been appointed at the position of
the Convenor which had been lying vacant for several days.
