Gold prices register increase in Pakistan

In Karachi, the cost of a tola of gold surged by Rs1286 in Pakistan on Thursday. As reported by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association (APGJA), the price of 24 Karat gold per tola in the country has now reached Rs213,300.
Furthermore, due to the weakening of the rupee against the US Dollar, the association noted a rise of 1179 rupees, making 10 grams of 24 karat gold priced at Rs182,870.
The association also pointed out that the international market saw an increase in the price of gold by $9, reaching $2005 per ounce.
