Malaysian PM Mahatir Mohammad makes a new announcement

ISLAMABAD - Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad has called for more integrated ASEAN market.
Speaking at ASEAN Business and Investment Summit in Thailand's capital Bangkok, Mahathir said ASEAN must leverage on its large population base as a more integrated market to achieve greater economic growth.
Mahathir said China achieved a significant growth during the past four decades as the country made full use of its large population as a huge market.
Earlier, ASEAN Business and Investment summit began today with main focus on Trade alongwith some discussion on other regional problems including plight of Rohingya refugees driven from Myanmar.
