The AAG informed the three-judge bench, headed by Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar, hearing the suo motu case regarding non registered construction in the area.

During the course of proceeding, the AAG apprised the bench that the PM's residence fell in zones 3 and 4 of the area and following the court orders the PM had applied for registration of his land.

Neyer Rizvi stated that there was no drainage system in the streets of the Bani Gala , nor there was any provision for earthquakes in the constructions.

Chief Justice observed that it was negligence on part of the development authority, however now thousands of houses had been constructed and there was no other option except registration of the land.

Subsequently, the bench directed the authorities to regularise the 65 applications received so far, and to prepare a master plan for the rest. The court then adjourned the hearing for 10 days.
