Chief of Tanzeem IttehadUmmat Pakistan makes an appeal to TLP leadership

LAHORE - Chief of Tanzeem Ittehad-e-Ummat Pakistan Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq Naqshbandi has appealed leadership of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan to resolve prevailing situation emerged after Supreme Court verdict in Aasia Bibi case through dialogue.
Addressing a joint news conference alongwith prominent Ulema of Ahl-e-Sunnat school of thought in Lahore this afternoon, he urged TLP leadership to pursue the legal course and avoid confrontation and agitation. He also appealed to the protestors not to harm properties and lives of the people.
Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq Naqshbandi said the TLP leadership should immediately take back its improper remarks about state institutions and national leadership.
He said armed forces of Pakistan should not be dragged into any controversy as they are engaged in war against terrorism and offering unprecedented sacrifices for the motherland.
