Security forces conducted information based operations in various parts of South Waziristan and recovered a large amount of arms, ammunition, improvised explosive devices and explosives under operation Radd-ul-Fasaad.
Punjab Rangers with police and intelligence agencies also conducted operations, patrolling and snap checking in Dera Ghazi Khan, Attock, Islamabad and Lahore.
Sixteen terrorists, facilitators and smugglers were apprehended and a number of weapons recovered from them.
The operation continues across the country successfully.
