91,000 children working at brick-kilns getting stipend from govt

ISLAMABAD:Punjab Minister for Labour and Human Resource Raja Ashfaq Sarwar has said that Labour Day is not just a day but it provides an opportunity to us to evaluate our daily life.
Talking to Radio Pakistan's News and Current Affairs Channel today (Tuesday) he said it can be proudly said that ninety one thousand children working at brick-kilns are now getting stipend from government by Khidmat cards.
He said fifty five thousand children have been enrolled in schools who were working in hotels, workshops and petrol pumps.
He said that Punjab government is providing free medical treatment to one million registered labours. APP/AFP
