IT Minister introduces ‘Work from Home’ policy for female officers

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information Technology & Telecom Mrs Anusha Rehman Tuesday said her ministry had introduced 'Work from Home' policy" to create a more conducive working environment for female officers.
Through this policy initiative, the female officers of IT ministry, had been given an option to choose one day in a week (as per their convenience), to perform their official duties while staying at their respective homes, she said in a statement.
'Work from Home' policy was a unique initiative, she said and stressed on the female officers to use the facility in a responsible manner so that their accessibility, communication and productivity would not suffer at any cost.
The female officers of the IT ministry have appreciated the policy initiative and thanked the minister for the special measure for well-being of women and girls, a press release said.
The Ministry of IT & Telecom has issued a formal notification in this regard. (APP)
