Islamabad HC rejects plea for transferring Imran Farooq case in other court

ISLAMABAD: While rejecting the plea of Anti-Terrorism Court Judge to transfer the Imran Farooq murder case in other court here at today, Islamabad High Court has directed ATC apex judge to continue the hearing of case.
As per details, during the hearing of Imran Farooq murder case on April 21, ATC Judge Syed kusar Abbas refused to hear the case on the misbehaviour of defense counsel saying that he was referring this case to another court.
After that, ATC Judge Kasur Abbas requested Islamabad High Court to transfer this case to another court due to exchange of harsh words between ATC Judge and Defense Counsel Mansoor Afridi.
Islamabad HC has rejected request of ATC Judge and ordered him to continue to the hearing of the case while matter of misconduct by defense counsel has been sent to Pakistan Bar Council by Islamabad HC.
