FIA launches inquiries against 35 ministries over corruption of billions of rupees

The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has directed the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to inquire into corruption of billions of rupees in 35 ministries.
The FIA has already begun investigation into corruption in six ministries, while the Authority has sought more briefing before launching probe in the remaining 29 ministries.
It has asked the PAC and ministries as to on which points they want investigation to be done.
