Former BJP ally reveals he was told war scenario ahead of Lok Sabha elections

NEW DELHI - Indian politician and head of Jana Sena party president Pawan Kalyan slammed the Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and said party members told him two years ago that there will be war before the Lok Sabha elections.

Kalyan, a former ally of the BJP, while addressing an election rally in the Kadapa district was quoted by Indian media as saying, "I was told two years ago war will be coming. You can understand from this what kind of situation our country is in."

Pawan said war was not a solution to any problem and could cause huge damage to both the countries.
