Hafeez Shaikh discusses upcoming budget with business community in Lahore

Government's economic team led by Advisor to Prime Minister on Finance Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh met the business community in Lahore in preparation for the Federal Budget 2019-20.
The meeting had a consensus view that industrialization is the future of Pakistan.
Extensive discussions were held in all areas including, revenue mobilization, electricity and gas.
The meeting emphasized the need to curtail expenditures and a budget reflective of the export needs.
Participants of the meeting included All Pakistan Textile Mills Association, Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other business leaders.
