Three constituencies of Sindh Assembly undergo polling

KARACHI: Polling is ended in by-election of three constituencies of Sindh Assembly including two vacant seat of Karachi PS-106, PS-117 and one in Naushehro Feroze PS-22.

As per details, the process of polling started from 8 am and continued till 5 pm without any suspension. Public holiday was declared in all three constituencies for the facility of people however private offices remained open.

Rangers contingents were deployed inside and outside polling stations in order to make process of polling more transparent while Pak Army contingent had been directed to alert to avoid any unpleasant situation. Strict security arrangements were also made by police in all three constituencies to maintain law and order situation.

It is also worthy to mention here that PS-106 and PS-117 fell vacant when MQM MPAs Iftikhar Alam and Dr. Sagheer decided to join Mustafa Kamal party PSP while by-election is being conducted in PS-22 on the verdict of court.
