COAS General Asim Munir stern warning to the enemy

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir, during his visit to Khairpur Tamewali, stressed that the armed forces are well aware of the challenges confronting Pakistan. He expressed the full preparedness of the military to counter any malicious intentions against the motherland.

This commitment was underlined as the COAS observed the field exercise of the Bahawalpur Corps, as detailed in a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

COAS Munir, addressing the troops, asserted, “We are cognisant of the challenges, and with the support of the nation, we are prepared to thwart any nefarious designs of the enemies of Pakistan.” He further stated that the Pakistan Army is fully equipped to safeguard the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the country against all potential threats.

Emphasizing the focus on defending the frontiers of the motherland, the COAS declared that, with the backing of the nation, the Armed Forces are poised to defeat any adversaries of Pakistan, InshaAllah.

During his visit, COAS Munir also addressed the concerns of a martyr’s daughter, promising relief. He received a briefing on the field exercise, aimed at enhancing professional skills at various tiers and battlefield procedures to meet future challenges in an operational environment.

The army chief witnessed integrated fire and battle manoeuvres involving elements such as armour, mechanised infantry, artillery, air defence, and anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs). The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and Combat Aviation provided support during these exercises. In the later stages of the visit, COAS Munir interacted with the troops actively participating in the exercise.
