Sindh Cabinet sets minimum wages of labor 16,200

Sindh Cabinet has set the minimum wages of the labor sixteen thousand two hundred (16,200) rupees across the province.

It has been decided in a meeting, presided over by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, held at Sindh Secretariat in Karachi.

The cabinet has also decided that the wages of High Skilled Labor will be twenty one thousand eighty three (21,083) rupees to twenty two thousand five hundred sixty nine (22,569) rupees.

The meeting was attended by Provincial ministers, chief secretary, IG police and other officials.

Meanwhile, briefing the media following the cabinet meeting Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister on Information & Archives Barrister Murtaza Wahab said that the cabinet has approved the new name for the Department of Sindh Katchi Abadi. Its new name will be “Human Settlement Spatial Development and Social Housing Department”.

The Adviser told that the Chief Minister also ordered to protect the human settlements while obliterating the encroachments.
