Ministry of Human Rights unveil 100 days performance

ISLAMABAD - Ministry of Human Rights has drafted nine bills during hundred days of the government to establish and strengthen necessary mechanism for welfare of women.
An official of the Ministry said awareness campaigns and redressal of human rights complaints, three researches on inheritance, street children and harmonization of laws, and three policies, including Women Empowerment Policy and Policy on Child Abuse, were also formulated within 100 days.
He said that during the period, the ministry managed to improve the structure of the ministry on receiving inputs from different sources besides recommending legislation and undertaking research work.
